May 2015 News

We have made it to May! One year ago we began our journey to become an Observant Masonic Lodge. We have labored hard: moved from the Grange in Baldwinsville to the Masonic Temple in Liverpool, restructured our bylaws, rehearsed our Ritual and now we are truly in the rhythm of Observancy.

A very grateful thank you to our two guests in April: R.·.W.·. Piers Vaughan, Grand Director of Ceremonies At Large and Chairman of the Grand Lodge Observant Masonry Committee, and R.·.W.·. Eric Howd, who presented "Masonic Composers Throughout the Ages: From the 18th Century to the 20th Century". Both traveled some distance to be with us and we very much enjoyed their presence at our gathering. It was a fantastic evening!

On Tuesday, May 19th, we will be holding our Annual Meeting and Election of Officers. Reports from the Treasurer, Secretary and Trustees will be heard this evening as well. We will begin with a lite Festive Board that evening at 6:30 PM. Please contact our Junior Warden, R.W. Richard Torrey  (rwddgm1012 at gmail.com) with your dinner reservation by May 10th. At 7:25 PM, we will proceed to the Lodge Room where we will begin with a brief silent meditation before opening Lodge in due & ancient form. Following our meeting and program we will retire downstairs for drinks and discussion.

As always, if any Officer is unable to attend, please contact myself or the Secretary, in advance.

In June, we will hold a social evening out with our Ladies. Details are being worked out & will be sent to the Brethren soon.

Until then, Stay Observant!

Fraternally,
