Based on advice coming in from Federal, State and Local Authorities as well as the Grand Master concerning the COVID-19 (Coronavirus) pandemic, Seneca River Lodge No. 160 is hereby cancelling its Stated Communication scheduled for Tuesday, March 17, 2020.
R.'.W.'. E. Oscar Alleyne, Junior Grand Warden of the Grand Lodge of New York, scheduled to lecture on the Coronavirus issue, unfortunately will not visit at this time. Apologies to all who had hoped to attend. When things settle down, we hope to invite R.'.W.'. Alleyne back to Central New York for an opportunity to present his scheduled lecture. R.W. E. Oscar Alleyne is still scheduled to speak at Seneca River Lodge No. 160 this Tuesday, March 17th. There is, however, a change in topic. Due to the current concerns regarding the COVID-19 pandemic, he will speak on the Coronavirus. He holds a Doctorate from the New York Medical College and is a Senior Advisor for Public Health programs at the National Association of County and City Health Officials in Washington, DC. There he is responsible for providing executive leadership, strategic visioning, senior management and technical assistance to the country’s 3,000 local governmental public health departments.
