Tuesday, March 17th is our first communication of the Spring as well as St. Patrick's Day.We will have the Irish represented in our pre-meeting Festive Board that evening at 6:30 PM. Please contact our Junior Warden, R.·.W.·. Richard Torrey (315-698-4315 or rwddgm1012@gmail.com) with your dinner reservation by March 9th. If any Officers are unable to attend, please contact myself or the Secretary, in advance.
I, unfortunately, will be out of town that week for a work related conference so our Senior Warden, R.·.W.·. Wade Caler will be in the East. Please do him the honor of attending and supporting the Lodge.
On Saturday, March 21st, Seneca River Lodge will be conferring the 3rd Degree at Liverpool-Syracuse Lodge. R.·.W.·. Bil Vassily has contacted many of you about participating. This is a date change from what was printed in the Word. If you agreed, please be there! As with our meetings, if you are unable to attend, please contact Brother Vassily in advance.
In April, we will welcome R.·.W.·. Piers Vaughan, Grand Director of Ceremonies At Large and Chairman of the Grand Lodge Observant Masonry Committee. He will be in town to observe us and comment on our Observant Lodge methods for the Grand Master. Yes, this is an inspection! Our education for that evening will be R.·.W.·. Eric Howd with his presentation "Masonic Composers Throughout the Ages: From the 18th Century to the 20th Century". It will be a grand evening - please plan on attending. More details will be available in next months column and on our website/Facebook page.
I look forward to seeing you then. Stay Observant!
Fraternally,
Master, Seneca River Lodge No. 160
