R.·.W.·. Ronald Waterbury was also honored in October for all his years of service as Master of the Lodge. He was presented a Past Master jewel to wear to all of his future events.
Our November Communication will be the Official Visit of our District Deputy Grand Master (and Brother of this Lodge), R.·.W.·. Edward Sinay, Jr. It will be held at the Liverpool Masonic Temple on Tuesday, November 18. We will begin with a turkey buffet dinner at 6:30 PM, please contact our Junior Warden, R.·.W.·. Richard Torrey (315-698-4315 or rwddgm1012 at gmail.com) with your dinner reservation by November 11. The Grand Master's Message will be conveyed by the DDGM, the Staff Officer, R.·.W.·. Ralph Haney and the Official Family at 7:30 PM. Please make every effort to attend.
The DDGM has asked that we all bring in food items for a local food pantry at this meeting. They will be collected and presented prior to our dinner. Please help make this a worthwhile endeavor by donating.
We hope that all the Officers will have their Tails by this meeting and this will mark the first gathering in all our finery.
There will be a Special Communication called for on Tuesday, December 2nd for the purpose of voting on ByLaws changes. They were read, discussed & edited at our September meeting. Thank you to all the Brothers in attendance that night for their patience and input. A formal notice for this Special Communication will be mailed and the ByLaws vote will be the only business that evening.
We have spoken of holding A Feast of St. John the Evangelist Dinner in December. I had planned for it to be a Lodge sponsored event but R.·.W.·. Brother Vassily asked it to be something that the CNY Observant Club would sponsor so I have passed the planning back to the Club. Look for an announcement and details coming from them very soon.
On behalf of the Officers and Brethren of Seneca River Lodge No. 160, I would like to wish one & all a very "Happy Thanksgiving" - may you all celebrate & give thanks with family & friends and be safe in your travels.
Remain Observant...
Worshipful Master
