Grand Lodge for 2018 has come and gone with new Grand Line Officers elected, appointed and installed.

Grand Lodge had some good news for Seneca River Lodge No. 160  R.·.W.·. Gary Heinmiller, Lodge Secretary, was appointed Grand Historian, and R.·. W.·. William Vassily, Lodge Trustee, was presented the Wendell K. Walker Award.  Please join me in congratulating both of these two Brothers.
    
On May 15th the Lodge elected and installed the new officers as well as conducted our annual business meeting.

Finally, it has been an honor and a privilege  to serve as Master these last two years and want to thank the officers and Brothers for all the support and assistance they have provided.

Brother Sam Friendman to Speak on March 20th

Samuel Friedman is the author of "Millennial Apprentices: The Next Revolution In Freemasonry" He is a current member of ERAC Lodge #163 in Rochester, New York as well as a Charter member and current Junior Warden of Ecclesia Lodge U.D He hails from a rich family tradition of Masonry that dates back three generations. A former Legislative Analyst for the New York State Legislature, he is currently enrolled at the Maxwell School of Public Administration and will soon receive a Master’s Degree in Public Administration.

He will speak at Seneca River Lodge on Tuesday March 20th. There will be social time at 6:00 PM, followed by dinner at 6:30 and a Tyled Lodge Meeting at 7:30.

Brethren,

I hope everyone is experiencing a pleasant Holiday Season. 

The Central New York Observant Mason Club will sponsor a Celebration of St. John the Evangelist Dinner at the Liverpool Masonic Temple, Wednesday December 27th.  Social hour will begin at 6:00 P.M. and dinner at 6:30.  The multi course meal will include various toasts, shrimp cocktail appetizer, a Chef Salad, full course Sirloin Steak dinner finishing with Creme Brulee for dessert.  Cost will be $20.  Reservations required to Wade A. Seneca River Lodge No. 160 will be dark in January and February.  Our next regular communication will be Tuesday March 20, 2018 and our guest speaker will be Bro.

Location: Masonic building at 608 Oswego St., Liverpool NY, 13088
Time: 6:00 Social Time, 6:30 Dinner, 7:30 Meeting.
Dinner: Catered Steak Dinner. Cost will be $15.

W.'. Christopher Murphy to Speak on 10/17

W.'. Christopher Murphy  is the Charter Junior Warden of Fibonacci Lodge No. 112 , and Secretary of the Vermont Lodge of Research No. 110, under the Most Worshipful Grand Lodge of the Ancient and Honorable Society of Free and Accepted Masons of the State of Vermont. He is a member of the Philalethes Society, and is a regular contributor to the Philalethes Journal.

Brother Murphy has lectured throughout New England and will visit Seneca River Lodge No. 160 on Tuesday, October 17th.

There will be a dinner prior to the opening of Lodge. It will begin at 6:30 PM, cost $10-15. Officers have a standing reservation, if you are unable to attend, please notify the Junior Warden before Monday evening (10/16) or you will be be responsible to pay for the dinner. All others can make a reservation by contacting Brother Tim Hansen (timothy.hansen@neardistant.net)

As always, dress code for this & all meetings is Tuxedo or dark suit. Our Meeting will commence at 7:30 PM with a 3 minute silent meditation in the Lodge Room before the Gavel falls to start the Opening.
