
It is my sad duty to inform you of the passing of Brother William Hook. There are plans for a 7:00 PM Masonic Service on Tuesday (1/12) evening at the Falardeau Funeral Home, 93 Downer St. in Baldwinsville. Please gather by 6:45.
William A. Hook, 86, of Baldwinsville passed away Friday at Crouse Hospital. He was born in Syracuse and lived in Baldwinsville most of his life.
Bill was a US Navy veteran of the Korean War, serving on the LST 859 Lafayette County as a corpsman when they did an amphibious landing at Inchon. He retired after 38 years as a Tool & Die Maker from General Motors in Syracuse. Bill was a member and past commander of the VFW Post 153 and a member of the American Legion Post 113.
Survivors: his wife of 62 years, Norma Kinning Hook; two sons, James (Cindy) Hook of Tecumseh, MI and Robert Hook of Baldwinsville; and a grandson, Tristan Hook.
Services: 11 a.m. Wednesday January 13th at St. Mark's Lutheran Church, 2840 Cold Springs Road, Baldwinsville. Calling hours are 4 to 7 p.m. Tuesday at the Falardeau Funeral Home, 93 Downer St., Baldwinsville, NY.
